• Question: Which figure from history do you think has influenced you the most ?

      I don’t know about influenced me, but in terms of people I find inspirational here are just a few:

      Scientists: Alan Turing, Ludwig Boltzmann, and Jonas Salk (developed the polio vaccine and refused to patent it),

      Rosa Parks. For showing what someone can achieve against all the odds by sticking to their beliefs.

      Malala Yousafzai . Perhaps not “from history” but, again, I find her remarkably inspirational (for much the same reasons as for Rosa Parks).

      Sacagawea, a Shoshone woman who acted as a guide and translator for Lewis and Clark during their trip from the eastern US to the Pacific ocean, influenced me a lot when I was younger. I loved how she managed to find a way, no matter what her situation, to learn, explore, and express herself.
