      Yes. If not physiological (and ultimately down to biochemistry), then what do you think it is?

      As I’ve said in an answer to another question, if love arises from physiology/biochemistry this does not, in any way, diminish my love for, for example, my wife and children. It’s just like even though we know that matter is made of atoms, this does not diminish the beauty of art or Nature.
