• Question: Do you work better in groups of people or animals?

      Depends on what I’m doing. Groups of horses can be better for thinking, but they won’t help me write any papers.

      Well, I’ve worked with a Physics Bear in the past — https://twitter.com/ThePhysicsBear . That was a fairly unnerving experience, so maybe I’ll stick with people.

      Although, having said that, I’d quite like to work with a Wookie — could be handy with a set of spanners around our ultrahigh vacuum systems. And we wouldn’t need to worry about having to get a fork lift in to move things. Maybe I’ll request funding for a Wookie on our next grant application…
