Parts of it. I didn’t really care for biology and chemistry seemed to gloss over the interesting physics. Mostly I liked math and physics.

I liked physics as I had a good teacher. I didn’t like my chemistry teacher so that was hard to enjoy. Biology was ok but I wasn’t great at it.

Yes, but I like physics most. I had a really fantastic physics teacher, which I think was one of the reasons I like it so much. I wasn’t that good at experiments though!

Kind of. But I must admit that it was the stuff that I read about outside of school that really inspired me to do a degree in physics.

I didn’t particularly enjoy my time at school, I’m afraid. When I compare my school experience to what many of the undergraduates here at Nottingham tell me about the inspirational teachers they’ve had, then it’s clear that I was taught in a very different era!
