In terms of non-fiction, Brian Greene’s “The Fabric Of The Cosmos” and Richard Feynman’s “The Strange Theory of Light and Matter” are favourites of mine.

I’m also a big science fiction fan: The Hitch-Hiker’s Guide To The Galaxy (Douglas Adams) is my favourite ever book, and I think I have to mention Terry Pratchett’s “The Science of Discworld”. I love the Discworld novels. Pratchett (who passed away last week) will be sadly missed…

My favorite author right now is Ann Leckie, who wrote “Ancillary Justice”. I’m not a huge fan of non-fiction.

When I was at school I used to read a lot, and I really liked science-fiction books by Isaac Asimov.
