      Some of them. I’m pretty introverted and I like reading (especially science fiction and fantasy). But I also like to go dancing, rarely have the latest technology, and love Jane Austin.

      Yes, I think so. I’m fairly nerdy and always have (proudly) been. I’ve told the undergraduates here at Nottingham for many years that they should embrace the inner geek. Geekiness is now cool but it wasn’t ten years ago! I’m certainly not sporty in any way, and I’m a big science fiction fan. I’m also a big metal/rock music fan, but then a Venn diagram of physicists and metal fans has rather a large crossover…
